Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular-and most polarizing-figures in sports and entertainment. He is loved by some, hated by others. He is both a pure physical force who must be seen to be believed, and an unconventional public figure who doesn’t give a damn about being a celebrity. For the first time, he tells his incredible story-in his own words. Brock is currently the main attraction of the UFC, but he was once the headliner good guy for the WWE from 2000-2004, with his image on tens of thousands of action figures, video games, and t-shirts before becoming bored with the fake fighting. He then tried out for the NFL, but a devastating motorcycle accident forced the injured Lesnar back into wrestling-this time on the crazy Japanese circuit. Finally, he returned to his roots of real wrestling and signed on to Ultimate Fighting where he quickly became its star and Heavyweight Champion. In 2008 and 2009, Lesnar was declared the undisputed “pay-per-view king,” his last UFC bout registering more than 1.6 million pay-per-view buys, by far outselling any pay-per-view boxing, pro-wrestling, or other mixed martial arts event in 2009. And then, with only weeks before he was scheduled to defend his UFC Heavyweight title, he came down with a mysterious illness that nearly killed him. What happened next was nothing short of a miracle.
