Brad has been building the Braaap Brand and developing new bikes for over six years, starting from his shed at home when he was just 16 years old. As an eighteen-year-old kid with nothing to offer but a vision, he and an interpreter visited motorcycle manufacturing plants in China offering his creations, only to be knocked back by over 50 manufacturing plants and 20 banks/financiers during the start-up of braaap. Brad never gave up sleeping on floors and roughing it in China until he found a manufacturer that believed in his dream. In 2013, Brad won the Australian Retail Business of the Year Award at the Australian Business Champion Awards - for the fourth time! He also won the Telstra Victorian Business of the Year Award and braaap won a championship at the world title for their sport.
