INCIDENTAL IMAGES
Author(s): Peter Brown
'It was evident in many of these images that I was actually trying to capture atmosphere & that I was becoming consciously or unconsciously much more sensitive to the subtle variations of light & shade. Things that might have gone unnoticed a few years earlier became interesting simply because the light was hitting them in a certain way. Incidental Images created by light falling on everyday things presented more frequently, inviting response & begging to be photographed: clouds, roads, waves, buildings, plants, rocks, animals, people, anything, anything at all, no matter how ordinary, as long as it was in some way enhanced by or imbued with light. Light & the incredible way it could transform things began to control how I saw the world.' - Peter Brown
